Clubs and Activites

It’s easy to get involved or create a club of your own. You can be the most valuable player, take the lead in the school play, become student body president, be a rock star, join the Green Team, or all of the above. These roles are just a few of the great opportunities for leadership on campus — experience that is invaluable to your future and your community. At the Academy, everyone has a chance to be a leader.

You can write, edit or design for the school newspaper, The AHA Standard. Sing with AHA Capella. Act in our drama club. Play an instrument, showcase your art, or find other ways to express your creativity. Student clubs cover all interests imaginable — from chess to knitting to robotics to swing dancing.
Academy students compete in 15 varsity sports, and also take advantage of intramural and club sports such as flag football, martial arts, kayaking, sailing, racquetball, rock climbing, Ultimate Frisbee, yoga, Zumba, and swing dancing.

My daughter’s Jewish identity has been enriched dramatically as well as her academic, athletic, and social identities. She seems to be learning and living with her whole heart.”
