Description: The American Hebrew Academy, America's Premier Jewish Pluralistic College Prep Boarding School, is seeking to hire an Admissions Associate. We seek a highly motivated recent college graduate who has a passion for Judaism and education.
The candidate will serve as part of the Admissions team.
Responsibilities include travel throughout North America to identify future Academy students, relationship building with community leaders, providing campus tours, guiding families through the admission process, developing promotional materials, coordinating trips, managing mailings and follow-up to prospective families, planning and staffing Prospective Student Weekend events and other duties as assigned. The candidate will reside on the Academy's beautiful 100 acre campus in Greensboro, North Carolina and will have limited residential responsibilities.
Duration: Full-time, 12 month position
Salary and Benefits: Compensation includes room and board valued at $12,000, plus an annual salary of $17,500. (Total compensation value $29,500). Room and board, travel expenses; health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, pension plan, 12 sick/personal days, 10 days vacation after completion of full year.
Preferred Experience: An interest in marketing and admissions and/or Jewish education as well as previous experience working with Jewish young people is preferred. Strong communication and follow through skills are a must.
