College Counselor

The American Hebrew Academy is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of College Counselor. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree, will have a strong commitment to independent school life, and will have at least three years of experience in college advising.

The applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to use multiple technological tools; strong organizational skills; adaptability and flexibility; and a team-oriented personality.

Familiarity with Naviance, experience with standardized testing (PSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, and AP Exams), knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and intimate knowledge of the Jewish culture and religion are desired. The College Counselor will assist the Director of College Counseling in all aspects of college advising.
