We are pleased that you are applying for admission to the American Hebrew Academy. Admission to the American Hebrew Academy is based on academic potential as well as past performance and individual strengths.

Admissions requirements include

A student visit to our campus (optional for foreign students);

The online application (the candidate must complete the Applicant Questionnaire, Essays and Agreement themselves; The Parent/Guardian must complete the Parent Questionnaire and Agreements themselves). You'll be prompted to pay the application fee at that time;

Recommendation forms from current Math and English teachers and a Jewish community professional;

The results of a Standardized test (SSAT, ISEE, ERB, PSAT, TOEFL) taken in the past 12 months;

We encourage you to submit your application and schedule your visit to our campus as soon as possible. Decisions are made on a rolling admissions basis, and are announced via mail approximately 4 weeks after a completed application is received. We encourage you to become familiar with all the important dates in the application (see below) and financial aid process.
